Memory Match Card Game

Make your own memory match game by printing and coloring the cards. Play alone or with a friend to match pictures to words! A great away-from-the-computer activity for beginning readers!

To Print:

For best results, print on card stock. Otherwise, print cards on regular paper then paste to construction paper.

Click on the set of cards below that you wish to print. Our printables are available in .PDF format, so if you can't open them you will need to ask your parents to download a .PDF reader. To download Adobe Acrobat Reader, click here.

Computer Cards

Computer 1 - printer, keyboard, monitor, tower.
Computer 2 - mouse, digital camera, scanner, trackball.

To Play:

Color your cards and cut them out on the bold black lines.

Scatter your cards face down and mix them up. No peeking!

When playing with a friend, the youngest player goes first. Each player gets one turn whether they get a match or not.

Turn up two cards. If you match the correct word and picture, place the matching cards face up in a pile until the game is finished. Time for the next turn.

If the two cards don't match, turn them face down. Next turn!

The game is over when all cards have been matched.

Have Fun!
