Add a touch of class to your home this Christmas with an elegant Victorian Christmas Garland. Start with a basic garland and end up with a festive hanging for years to come.

What you'll need:

  • Artificial evergreen garland (at any Ben Franklin or other craft supply store)
  • Flowers of your choice (should be medium sized to big with wire stems to wrap around garland)
  • Ribbon (probably one that matches your flowers)
  • Any other kind of decoration (artificial grapes for example)
  • Tacks and nails
  • 2 clothes pins

How to make it:

  1. Lay your evergreen garland out on the floor.
  2. Cut a piece of ribbon long enough to wrap around garland from end to end.
  3. Wrap ribbon around garland from end to end and hold in place with clothes pin.
  4. Wrap wire of flowers around garland so that just the blossoms of the flowers show.
  5. Put any other accessories on the garland that you would want.
  6. Have someone hold one end of the garland while you hold the other and put in place.
  7. You are all done!
