Choose to play in English or French. Then guess a 5 letter word that the computer picks from a dictionary of about 5000 English or French words at 6 levels of difficulty. You have 5 chances to guess each word and there can be 1 or 2 players.

The first letter of the word is shown. Type a guess starting with that first letter. A blue square indicates that a letter is in the correct position in the word. A yellow circle shows that it is in the word but in another spot. If the word typed is not in the program's dictionary it is considered an error and the letters are not marked - this can be confusing as some of those letters could be correct.

Keep making guesses until you run out of tries or have the right word. Play by yourself or compete with a friend - take turns guessing words and the computer keeps score. The registered version has an option for network play using Apple Talk.
