AREA PUZZLES

Fill a ten by ten grid with colored (or shaded) tiles so that the area of each tile agrees with the number inside it. To make a tile, click the mouse just inside one vertex and drag to just inside the opposite vertex. Let go of the mouse button and the tile will fill with color. To correct a mistake, click and drag between the vertices with the Shift button held down.

This program is good for area, factors, and logic skills and has twenty puzzles. It is one program from a CD of over 200 math programs for middle school students by Gary Smith - visit his web site for more information.
