BATTLESHIP is the traditional game, played against the computer (at 2 levels of difficulty) or over an AppleTalk network. Each player places 5 ships anywhere on the playing field - the Deploy All Ships button results in a random placement. Then players take turns to shoot at each other's fleet one sector at a time. A hit gets an additional shot.

The object of the game is to destroy the opponent's fleet before your own is beaten. This version has 2 playing fields - the Atlantic Theater for a 16x18 grid, or the Pacific Theater for a 20x23 grid. Sounds, graphics and animations are nicely done. Younger kids might not like the skulls shown when a ship is totally destroyed.

The Smart Opponent computer player is pretty good at the game!
