BRICKBREAK is a paddle game with bells and whistles (or blocks and apples!). Use your paddle to destroy all the bricks on each level by hitting them with a ball. Green bricks disappear after being hit once, blue bricks after 2 hits, and red after 3 hits. There are 10 levels in the demo, and 100 in the registered version. Press on the space bar to start the demo.

Apples (or maybe they are red balls) and different shapes of blocks fall down as bricks disappear. They can be caught with the paddle. They have different effects. The ball sometimes slows down or speeds up, and extra balls can appear and have to be handled with the paddle.

The apple turns the paddle red. Click on a red paddle to fire a volley of little red balls at the bricks! In one level a solid wall appears, with unbreakable bricks. Send the ball around it to get at the bricks lurking behind.

This is an addictive game with a balance of arcade and thinking skills required. It's a good way to learn about trajectories, and a lot of fun for a wide age range! Ages 6 up
