This is a demo of Bugdom - you can play the first level.

The Bugdom was once a peaceful place ruled by Rollie Pollies and Lady Bugs. But then the Fire Ants overthrew the government and took all the Lady Bugs captive. You are Rollie McFly, the only bug remaining who can save the Lady Bugs and restore peace to Bugdom.

Run around, avoiding the slugs, kicking open walnuts for bonuses, and freeing the ladybugs. Watch out for other nasty bugs, and find the key to get through the gates. You can disable the other bugs by either kicking them or by rolling up into a rollie pollie ball and running them over.

This game is fun to play, with cute and colorful graphics and great animation, and I would have given it a gold award, except for the violence levels. The beginning starts out pretty tame, the slugs are not too hard to avoid. But once you're through the gate you'll find red ants, and they will throw spears at you. Some portion of the time you can avoid the ants and they will not bother you, but overall, you will have to fight the other bugs to play this game - and kick them until they slump over. I did not see any gore, but still, this is not a game for very young children, in my opinion.
