BUSHFIRE

Guide fire fighters to fight fires around urban areas. Work from a map of hexagonal units, varying from 10 x 10 to 100 x 100 in size. Units show different types of terrain (which burn more or less easily) and lakes (which cannot be crossed).

Start the game and select New from the file menu. There are 5 levels of difficulty and the map size can be set between 10 and 100. Hexagons can have firefighters or fires on them. Move each firefighter in turn, and try to put out fires when adjacent to them. Once your turn is over, it's the bushfire's turn to spread.

The download includes the game, a map editor to build your own layouts, and documentation. Start with a small map size and an easy game and build up firefighting skills. Plan your moves carefully - bushfires spread fast!
