CATCH SEVEN is a trivia/scholastic bowl/quiz game for 1 or 2 players. In single player mode, the objective is to gain the maximum number of points in 7 categories. Two players compete to be the first to get 30 points. Examples of categories are major battles in the U.S. civil war, provinces of Canada, nations of Africa, books by Dr. Seuss or NBA rookies.

Players are given the name of a category, and then bid a number (1-7) or pass. The number reflects how many items they expect to be able to identify in that category. They bid until someone reaches 7 or passes. Then the main game board appears, showing the category name and 12 items that may be members of that category - 7 of them are, but the other 5 are not. Click enough correct items to meet your bid. Watch for errors - your opponent gets the points.

Registration gives access to many more categories than are in the download. A Catch Seven Editor is available with a $20 fee - this allows creation of new categories. Test and extend your general knowledge with this fun quiz game!
