EGYPTIAN SOLITAIRE is a simple and addictive solitaire game. The cards are shuffled and 28 cards are dealt face-up and overlapping in the shape of a pyramid. The remainder of the cards are turned over one at a time.

Take cards off the pyramid that are either one higher or one lower than the one turned over. They must not be covered by another card. Continue until either there are no more cards to turn over or you meet the objective by clearing the pyramid. The game saves the top ten (lowest) scores.

There is an option of showing cards that are legal plays - they are shaded. This makes the game very simple to play. However it is more subtle than it appears. When a card is cleared from the pyramid, it becomes the next card in the pile. So the next card to come off the pyramid must be one higher or lower than this one. The choice of cards to remove from the pyramid can be important as they can have a cascading effect.
