FRACTIONS - ADDITION & SUBTRACTION

Pick a topic in Adding and Subtracting Fractions: with like denominators; with unlike denominators; adding mixed numbers; or subtracting mixed numbers, with and without renaming. Read the fraction tutorials, try practice mode and then take a test. If you get a high score, play Blackbeard's Ghost! Use the arrow keys to move through Blackbeard's castle, collecting coins from his treasure. Then escape before the Ghost vaporizes you!

The demo is fully functional except that only 2 rounds of 3 problems each can be played every time the game is started. Problems are different each time you play. Buttons at the left provide step by step help, review and a glossary. There is also a Management feature aimed at teachers and parents. It allows selection of skills to be practiced.
