Description: 
HASTE is based on a card game called Spit or Speed. Play against a friend or try to beat the computer. Click on options and take note of the key settings, or modify them to your preference. Each player starts with a draw pile. Click on the icon of a hand holding cards to lay out (spit) 4 cards face up in a row (stock piles) in front of each player. Then click on the draw pile to place a card face up in your discard pile in the center. The game starts and players do not take turns! Play any card in one of your 4 stock piles, that is one higher or lower and the opposite color (black/red) to a card in one of the 2 discard piles. Play the card by clicking on the key for that stock pile. This moves the card on top of the discard pile. Keep going until you run out of moves. Then both players spit again onto the stock piles! The game ends when one player uses all their stock cards or both draw piles are empty. Play 3 games per session in the download. The registered version allows any number, and also gives the choice of computer skill level, and supports editing of computer speech phrases used in the game. The game is simpler than it sounds.
