Demo allows first 6 activities of 60 activities: Learn positions of notes on piano keyboard and on staff; identify various musical symbols; learn to recognize sequences of musical pitches, among others. Seems well designed and thought-out.
The class teacher can cater for a large range of abilities simultaneously. Beginners can review note names while advanced students study their aural intervals. Students can get one-on-one help for new concepts from the teacher while others are working at a level appropriate to them. With so many activities available there is always extension work available for advanced students.

Specific skills covered include:

  • Reading notes in the treble and bass clefs.
  • Matching manuscript notes with keys on a piano.
  • Aural recognition of melodies and rhythms.
  • Aural recognition of scales and common intervals.
  • Recognition of note names and their durations.
  • Review of common Italian terms and music symbols.

  • Aural recognition of major and minor tonality.
