ONCE UPON A TIME is a storybook authoring program. Fill in a form to create a title page, and add new pages to your book at any time. Pages can be picture pages (with space for a little text at the bottom) or text pages.

The demo has 2 themes - medieval and farm, with several scenes for each. For example there are indoor castle scenes (day and night) and meadow scenes. Select a scene for the background to a picture page and then fill it with objects, and pick their colors. Objects include a minstrel, a dragon, a king, or an inn.

Write about the scene at the bottom of a picture page and, if you have more to say about it, add one or more text pages. Use the scenes and objects to stimulate your storytelling imagination!

Stories cannot be saved or printed in the demo. There are 4 different volumes of the full program, with hundreds of images and backgrounds.

Just start writing with 'Once upon a time ...'!
