This is a free trial of Stagecast Creator - a programming package that lets kids, parents and teachers easily create interactive games, simulations, stories, models and lessons. This software is easy enough to use that an 8 year old can learn to write programs on their own with it! (My 6 year old can use it, too, with minimal help). Unlike many programming languages, does not require code to be typed in, but uses a visual interface to create 'rules' that objects on the screen follow.

This demo has limitations, but includes much of the tutorial, so that you can learn how to use Creator. It allows you to create some characters and boards for them to move around on, and you can also view and fully edit other worlds that are already created.

This is a big download and requires a reasonably fast computer
