Description:

STARGAZER'S DELIGHT

This is a desktop planetarium. Gaze at the night sky from any location on earth at any given time (locations and visible stars are limited in the unregistered version). Zoom in and out, display or hide stars, constellations, deep sky objects, planets, constellation boundaries and so on. Animate the sky, see the stars wander, see the twilight and the sun rising. Switch between the Local View and a Star Atlas.

Display the names of the stars, their apparent magnitude or distance in light years. Click on any object and get information about it. Track the planets as they move throughout days and years between the stars and watch them when they make loops. View photo images of some of the well known planets. Ask the program to 'tell me why' planets make loops; there are seasons; and there are solar eclipses. Amusing animations explain these things, though the English (being a translation) is a little awkward.

Both English and German versions of the program are available. But don't forget to look out your window and see the real stars at night!
