DINNER TIME DEMO is an interactive ecology tutorial. Topics include food webs, producers, consumers, teeth type and diet, and vision in prey and predators. Start in a classroom scene and select one of the books with titles: Food Webs, Omnivores, Herbivores, Recipes or Quiz. Selecting Omnivores and Herbivores result only in a quick animation in the demo. Food Webs has Forest, Rocky Shore and Mangrove, with only Forest in the demo.

Release 2 organisms at a time into the Forest and watch who eats who. Then drag their names into the accompanying food chart. Recipes explains Who Eats Who in terms of Consumers and Producers, and challenges you to find 2 of each. The Quiz requires dragging images and text to their correct locations, for example to match Teeth, Diet and Type of animal.

This is a fun way for kids to learn about different types of predators and prey, and the food chain!
