E-BOOKS These are available in Adobe's Free eBooks area, and include excerpts and complete works in PDF format. Most are less than 1 Mb in size and do not have illustrations. As part of the download process you are sent to get a free software key (reading voucher) to unlock each book. There are about 25 book titles. They include: Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll; Frankenstein by Mary Shelley; Kidnapped and Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson; or Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. There is also a 102 page book of Poems by William Shakespeare, with pages photographed from a 1640 edition. This is a 31.5 Mb download, but a smaller one of excerpts is also available.
