Description:

Sample lessons in the demo range from kindergarten mathematics to college math, physics and chemistry. It also includes math and science clip art.

K-2 math problems are presented visually. In K problems you can change the image amongst several, like balloons or bears. The images move to demonstrate problem solutions. Grade 1 lessons include ordering of numerals, comparison of numbers and subtraction on the number line.

Grade 2 lessons cover addition without regrouping and subtraction of 2 digit numbers. Advanced arithmetic covers addition of 4 digit numbers and prime factorization. Other lessons for elementary school kids include signed numbers, powers, coordinate geometry, graphical methods, area and perimeter and percent.

The math content is excellent. The user interface in the demos is occasionally not obvious but can be discovered. The program told me several times that it had an internal error (with Windows 98), but continued when asked. Once it was unable to continue, but I restarted without any problem.

This demo covers a lot of ground! It has some problems, but it's worth persevering for the content.
