The first lesson explains a fraction, with visual examples. It also introduces the terms numerator and denominator, and defines proper, improper and mixed fractions. Access the game using the black GAME button at the top of the page. Then help Fifi climb the stairs by answering fraction questions, such as to paint the 6/8 fraction of a pie.

The second lesson explains equivalence of fractions and how to simplify them. Then start the practice game - answer questions to gain points. After winning points, try skipping over ice floes to reach the ship. Don't worry if you fall in a few times - just answer more questions and try again!
