These are 5 downloadable activities to encourage reading and writing. 'Read All About It' is a form to use to interview a friend or family member. Then write an article about the interview. 'Meet My Favorite Character' provides a picture frame to draw the character in, with a caption below.

'It's a Favorite Book' is a form to fill in to make a letter to a relative about a favorite book. 'What's for Dinner?' is a menu to be filled in with names from favorite book titles and characters, like Gryffindor Grits. 'Be a Word Detective' asks for words to be made from letters in 'Read*Write*Now! with Arthur'.
