Description:
Ever feel like time moves really quickly or really slowly? But you can't really slow time down or speed it up, right? Einstein didn't think so. His idea was that the closer we came to traveling at the speed of light, the more time would slow down for us relative to someone not moving. He called the slowing of time due to motion, time dilation. Einstein came up with an example to show the effects of time dilation which he called the "twin paradox." It's a lot like the Time Traveler game. Click on Major Jane or Tom Earthling and set their initial ages. Then click on the rocket and pick its velocity as a percentage of the speed of light. Next click on a twinkling star to send Major Jane into space. On her return, check Jane and Tom's new ages and notice that they've aged at different rates. Experiment with different settings. Finally, click on the computer and Einstein will explain it all as only he can do! Download Details Requires: Filename: einstei2.zip, Win 95/98/NT Filesize: 995 KB, 878 KB Download Sites: [ HELP!
