World Atlas is like a computerized globe not quite 3-D but it does the job. On the main screen you have the globe which you are able to rotate. Find the country of interest to you and select Display Details, statistics of that specific country will be displayed and it's flag. Along with the display comes a more detailed map of the area that you can scroll using the arrow keys on the keyboard.

NOTE: A rather large download but worth taking a look at. It does come with a nag screen at startup and at exit which you cannot buy pass unless of course you register.
