My son is only 2 years old; but loves to play guitar with his daddy. Since we bought him a child-size guitar and amp for his birthday gift, we are making his birthday party a "musical" theme.

The invitations are a shape of a guitar and read, "Johnny's 2nd Birthday Party will be a Jamm'n good time"... We are also making the cake into the shape of a guitar and taking a cup of dry ice and setting it on the pan when we present it to him. The cake will simulate a "concert" theme with the dry ice. We plan to take a poster board and decorate it as if it were a guitar, and play "pin the pick on the guitar".   The children we will be inviting are around two, some older, some younger, so we are saving the 2 lbs. cans of enfamil powder and letting the toddlers decorate them as a drums. They can take them home with them at the end of the party, and we plan to fill them with candy/stickers, etc.
