What it is
In 2006, Curious George swung onto the big screen and Marvel Toys produced a wonderful toy line based on the movie. Leading the way was the Tickle 'N Giggle Curious George.
This 14-inch plush Curious George has six different tickle spots located around George's body-under an arm, on a foot, under his chin, and of course, on his tummy. George will giggle when tickled in any of these spots, but one of them is a secret tickle spot that when found will make him laugh so hard that he'll shake. This secret tickle spot randomly changes locations so kids will have to keep tickling George to find it again.
Why it's fun
Curious George has entertained generations of kids with his inquisitive nature. Marvel's Tickle N' Giggle Curious George is a soft and plush recreation of George. The doll's secret tickle spot engages a child's own curious tendencies and finding that secret spot becomes a fun game.
Who's going to love it
Little kids will love this doll especially if they already enjoy watching the movie on DVD. Parents also feel a special fondness for Curious George, as many of them grew up with this character and now have the opportunity to introduce him to their own children.
What to be aware of
Marvel plans to continue its support of Curious George in 2007 with new products based on The Adventures of Curious George, a new animated series launching on PBS' Ready to Learn block.
The cartoons, narrated by William H. Macy, and Marvel's line of products, will focus on teaching such subjects as math, science and early engineering. Look for these items to launch in January 2007.
