I Love Raptors

Several years ago, I volunteered at International Bird Rescue, a bird rahabilitation center. I learned how to tube feed sick birds, wash oiled birds, spin down blood in a centrifuge, siphen out a pool of dirty water, and my least favorite job, cleaning out cages! My favorite job was feeding minced mice to the raptors. We kept dead mice in the freezer, and in order to feed the smaller raptors, we need to chop them up in little piece. The raptors ate everything... even the bones!

I hope you enjoy these raptor icons. The next set in my Aviary will be Parrots, and then probably a set of duck icons. Write to me if you'd like to be added to my mailing list.
