Arthur's Absolutely Fun Day

Arthur's Absolutely Fun Day! is full of fun and adventure for children ages 4-7.

Mr. Ratburn, Arthur's teacher, gives Arthur a pass to the WonderWorld Amusement Park. Arthur needs to earn 16 stars to place on his pass in order to receive a free ticket to WonderWorld. There are 10 different games to play and children can play them multiple times.

Help Grandma Thora make pancakes by flipping them over when the pancakes are ready. Whoops! Overdone pancakes are tossed in the trash and Grandma Thora pours some more.

The "Jelly Bean Sort" and the "Library Helper" games both deal with sorting colors into the correct area. The "Basketball Free Throw" was a favorite game as it didn't require a child to exactly position Arthur in order to make the basket. The child only has to move Arthur closer or further from the basket depending on how high and far the ball travels when they push the button.

"Diving for Treasure" has Arthur swimming underwater looking for different treasures. Children help Arthur swim and find a variety of items such as a crystal, a ring, genie bottle, and even a Game Boy!

Other games include: Air Hockey, Soap Box Derby, Picking Berries, Skateboard Recycling, and the Newspaper Route.

Wonderworld has an additional 5 games to play: Skeeball, Bumper Cars, Water Balloon Race, Sink the Clown, and Sledgehammer Hit. Children can play these games as many times as they like and even visit Arthur's neighborhood and play the other games as well.

The graphics in Arthur's Absolutely Fun Day! are the best we have seen in a young child's game. Game play is easy and games can be played in any order that the child desires in Arthur's neighborhood. The password screen was designed with the young child in mind. A school bus drives up with Arthur and his friends inside. The child only has to remember the order that 3 characters sat in the bus in order to resume play where they left off.

In our opinion, Arthur's Absolutely Fun Day! is exactly what the name implies. Our children have had a multitude of fun days with this game. The age range is set correctly for the age group, and is a great first game to get a child for Christmas this year! Your child will have an absolutely fun day with Arthur!
