Babe and Friends is a logic-puzzle game reminiscent of Lemmings and Pit Droids, wherein players need to figure out how to get the sheep past obstacles along the way. Deceptively simple at first, this game can quickly become addictive! The first levels reel you in, then all of a sudden you notice that things just aren't as easy as they once were. Play consists of maneuvering Babe around the screen, looking for the best path as indicated by signs with arrows. Obstacles have to be dealt with, and players have to find ways to keep the sheep from going too far in one direction (the sheep move as far as able in one direction). Babe directs the sheep by getting behind them and barking, pointed in the way he wants them to go. Babe's friends are available for a little help along the way. Try to scout out a path beforehand, because once the sheep gets stuck, that puzzle will have to be restarted. This is one of those games that people will either love or hate, depending on personal taste. I bought this for my 11-year-old daughter, who didn't care for it. I tried it and found it to be a lot of fun! If you're a puzzle aficionado, you'll enjoy this one. | |||||||||||||||||||||
