Ready yourselves for some serious demolishing with this 'all time classic' that can amuse for hours and hours! This one is sure to bring about the most anti-social time of your life.

Remember Breakout? If you don't, then let me tell you that the game was, and still is, a classic from the days of the 2D arcade machines. Cool Bricks is based upon that original idea and has been developed with a few new graphics and fresh levels in order to sell it to a new, younger audience. However, the premise behind the game remains the same.

The gameplay is as addictive now as it has always been. Simple controls and plenty of accessories allow for a fast-paced game, giving the player the ability to really lay into the bricks. The title boasts a total of 16 pick-ups, and not all of these are weapons - you'll also find tools and other goodies.

The graphics are nice and colorful, with some neat special effects for the various weapons that you pick up and release with a vengeance upon the offending bricks. Music and SFX are acceptable and, as with a lot of GBC games, you can either take or leave 'em.

Overall, I'd recommend this game to anyone, you don't have to think too hard - it's just pure fun on a GBC cartridge! It's on a par with Tetris and has been going nearly as long, so it must be good. Cool Bricks ports perfectly to GBC; it fits in well with the whole idea behind the hand-held console - addictive fun!
