Disney's The Little Mermaid II

This game combines the stories of Disney's The Little Mermaid and Disney's The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea and features over 30 minutes of movie segments. In the first part, players assume the role of Ariel and play through the storyline to solve puzzles and collect treasures. Flounder is along to offer advice along the way. In the second chapter, players become Melody (Ariel's daughter) to defeat the evil Morgana, Ursula's revengeful sister. We found the gameplay to be rather easy, but felt that the characters were difficult to control in certain areas of the game. Certainly, when Morgana throws bolts from the trident at Melody, it is very difficult to get Melody to JUMP out of the way.

One last note: the game froze up about 2/3 of the way through and we had to turn off the machine and replay, which was a pain - but that only happened once.

All in all, if you have a Little Mermaid fan at your house, this is a game they'll love and enjoy
