Iggy's Reckin' Balls, whilst not totally original, is a unique combination of game styles - a sort of a cross between Nintendo's Uni-Racers, and Kula World on the Playstation. The basic premise is simple: compete against a number of equally disturbing Reckin' Balls in a race to the finish in a number of surreal racing leagues. Each league comprises of a set amount of courses, varying in difficulty, combining moving platforms with a number of other, more intricate, obstacles.

To begin with, Iggy's Reckin' Balls is highly entertaining. The gameplay is fresh enough to warrant interest, and the number of moves are initially rewarding. However, this interest soon wavers. An hour into the game, and gamers will be disappointed to discover that the introduction of new features in the first five minutes of the game was all the game had to offer. Although the game includes short-cuts and hidden bonus levels, the one-player mode soon becomes dull. Iggy's Reckin' Balls' saving grace is its multi player modes. Although far from brilliant, they re-introduce the fun factor that was apparent in the early stages of the game.

All in all, Iggy's Reckin' Balls fails to deliver in single player mode, but is suprisingly enjoyable with four players.
