Indiana Jones and the Infernal MachineReviewed by Carol WelchPublished by THQ/Lucas Arts Platform: Game Boy Color ESRB Rating: E - Everyone
The Cold War has begun and Indy has been recruited by the new CIA to find all the parts to this mysterious machine before the Russians. Legend has it that the machine was constructed 2500 years ago by the Babylonians and stored inside the Tower of Babel. The Tower was believed to have housed a power greater than the atomic bomb. But when the Tower was destroyed, the machine was divided into four parts and sent to separate destinations around the world. In order to find these elusive parts, Indy must travel to exotic destinations, battle Soviet Thugs, sharks, wolves, ice beasts, and more. Oh, and snakes, too! We can't forget the snakes! But don't worry; Indy is armed with his trusty whip and pistol to help him through the adventure. Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine is a fun game for all ages. My sons (ages 6 and 10) both enjoyed this game as much as I did. The 6-year-old needed occasional help in problem-solving, but did well otherwise. This game does involve minor violence (shooting the bad guys), but no bloodshed or other gore. | |||||||||||||||||||||
