Kirby 64: The Crystal ShardsReviewed by Cynthia A. SorrelsPublished by Nintendo Platform: Nintendo 64 ESRB Rating: E - Everyone
The game has six adventures on 5 planets and your objective is to get Kirby through all of them while collecting gold stars and shards of crystal. The game saves your progress at each level so you won't have to replay as much. Each planet has a distinctly different personality and the opponents you'll conquer with varying levels of skill. The graphics are cartoon-like, the music snappy and fun, and Kirby himself is (as usual) full of hot air! The frustration from this program occurs from two things: 1) Kirby walks slowly and flies more slowly, and 2) the ending is quite unimpressive. Overall, this is very fun game that our entire family played beginning to end. But now that we've finished it, I have doubts about its replayability. | |||||||||||||||||||||
