The Land Before Time: Return To The Great Valley

In The Land Before Time: Return To The Great Valley, Littlefoot and friends find a Sharptooth egg in a cave and decide to return it to a nest in the Great Beyond. Just as they do so, an angry Sharptooth mother roars into action, sending the four scattering. With your help, they can each find the way home.

Each character (Littlefoot, Cera, Ducky and Spike) will work through five levels with puzzles and obstacles. Petrie is along to give instructions and collect Treestars.

While it is obvious that much time and effort was put into the development of this title, even the biggest Land Before Time fans will have problems with manuevering the characters along their paths - to the point that the game becomes very frustrating and isn't fun. We did find that Littlefoot is the most difficult to manage. Ducky was much better, but a green character on a green background was not a good choice.

Additionally, the camera drove us nuts a good bit of the time and we *really* wished Petrie would shut up. This is a game your kids may want based on the licensed characters, but the actual gameplay is not consistent throughout and that is why we were frustrated and disappointed.
