LEGO Racers

Players can experience the fun of LEGO building on their N64 console as they build racecars and drivers with virtual LEGO bricks. A memory card is required to save those special custom-built racers, but the game can be played without it. Once the creations are complete, players can race through 12 tracks against 5 familiar LEGO challengers or other players via split-screen. Watch for power-ups, boosters and short cuts to make the race even more exciting! Everything that made the LEGO Racers PC game great can be found in this console version.

My sons, ages 6 & 9, have thoroughly enjoyed this racing game! The bonus of building personalized cars and drivers takes this game a step above most other racing titles. The graphics and audio are great, making it fun to see LEGO play themes in 3D.

The steering response is good - easy for young hands to control. And what is Mom's favorite feature? No crashes! :) I can bounce off the walls to my heart's content and not feel like too much of a klutz!

Overall, this is a great beginner racing game for kids, and lots of fun for those older racing fans and LEGOmaniacs as well! As LEGO Media's first foray into the N64 format, I'd say it's a winner!
