The Three Stooges Daily DesktopReviewed by Carol WelchPublished by Southpeak

Technical Aspects:This title installed and ran with no problems. The graphics and sounds are both of good quality. The program is very easy to use - images and tools can be added, deleted, resized and moved around the desktop with no problems. However, this desktop does not replace your Windows desktop; instead, it runs as a secondary desktop that can be accessed by an icon or through the programs menu. My husband (a lifelong Three Stooges fan) was disappointed by this fact. He would have preferred that all of the zany features be available at all times on his primary desktop! I do agree that it would be most convenient to have sticky notes, lists, clocks and calendars available as I work.
Report and Conclusions:My 9-year-old son has never seen a Three Stooges program, but he was fascinated with this desktop! He loved the hilarious sound effects, silly music and comical characters. Of course, the Whack-A-Moe game was his favorite and he wanted there to be more games like that one! He has had a great time rearranging the desktop, and bugging me to network his computer to mine, so that he can play pranks on me!I found this title to be more of a novelty than a practical program. Taken as such, it will be fun for any Three Stooges fan. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
