Description:

Animaniacs Splat Ball is a fast paced, free-for-all paintball adventure with toon against toon vieing to be named the Sultan of Splat Ball. Your team consists of Yakko, Wakko, and Dot and your aim is to stay clean. This is not an easy feat when your opponents, Dr. Scratchansiff, Thaddeus J Plotz, and Ralph the Guard suddenly appear with their paint guns! Your goal is to capture the opponent's balloon, such as in the game of Capture the Flag, and bring it back to your camp. A variety of sets in Warner Bros. studio provide the backdrop for this wild and crazy, if not messy, fun.

Technical Aspects:

Game ran without any problems and installation was smooth.

Report and Conclusions:

This game is much harder to beat than you might imagine. My youngest son, not having the skills to actually win any of the levels, just enjoys going around to splat all the opponents. The older, at age 12, even commented that it looked a lot easier than it was. The 7 year old got tired of the same phrases being repeated by the characters over and over again and turned down the sound. From a kid that plays his Game Boy games for the music, this must have been repetitive! The game is fun, but the longevity just didn't seem to stick. The children enjoyed the different power ups, such as the earthquake bomb, as it provided some giggles. The children were looking for a bit more depth in the game than it provided.
