The software features the two famous Australian fruit characters, B1 and B2. Better known as Bananas in Pyjamas, these characters are a load of fun and education for the children. In this particular title, we see the Bananas with their familiar music and well-known friends such as Rat, Lulu, Amy and Teddy. The Bananas guide children through a host of activities and encourage them to join in. No child is discouraged and almost every item of animation is a link to a game. There are flying fish, flowers causing sneezing, sing-a-longs with Rat, parties, beach balls, balloons and more. All activities are easy and fun to do, and my nephews were transfixed so much that their mother came looking to see why they were so quiet. The presentation is more like a cross, for lack of better words, between a cartoon and puppetry and so is better than the average children's software that I have seen. Finally, every activity has sub-activities, so when children might think that they have 'done everything' in a particular scene they find that there is more to come. Features:
Technical Aspects:There are two choices for installation, depending on how much Ram you have in your computer, but both work equally well. I found only one problem with the program. If you wanted to stop it for some reason then you had to wait for the game or activity to cease unless you clicked the bottom of the screenReport and Conclusions:A truly fun CD that should be a must in every home with young children. There is no question in my mind that while I could not sit there and play every game throughout the whole CD, young children will love it. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
