Technical Aspects:Installation and running this program is a snap. It works well with Windows 95, and we experienced no choppiness or other problems on our Pentium II-300 mhz with 48M RAM.
Report and Conclusions:Every time a new Barbie title is out, I hear parents groan. I'll admit to even groaning myself, once in awhile, because it's almost as if Mattel is AFRAID to include educational content in the Barbie series of programs. My own 5 year old would have loved this title even more if there were an effort to teach basic nail care, and if a Barbie nail kit had been included, she would have been in Barbie heaven. But it *doesn't* come with those things, and in leaving them out, Barbie Nail Designer is very much like most kid print programs, quite limited. However, if you have a Barbie fan, they'll want the Nail Designer experience. This is one program my daughter would insist that she had to 'check out' and I would give in and shell out the purchase price. Sometimes it feels more like Suckerhood than Parenthood, eh? | ||||||||||||||||||||||
