Description:

Centered on the theme of Recycling, the Berenstain Bears learn about conserving water, sorting recyclables, picking up trash and making posters. Each Bear tells a story that is partially shown in text. Three levels of play and either solo or team play options are available. There are nice awards to print out as each activity is completed, so make sure you have lots of paper!

Technical Aspects:

After installing the game (which is easy), the program will auto-run each time the CD is loaded.

For a good representation of the actual game, check out the screen captures on the back of the box. The front is a little deceptive because the picture does not appear in the program and the style of graphics is different.

Report and Conclusions:

The game is rated for 4-6 years olds. As each Bear tells his/her story, my kids' attention wandered. While the games seemed engaging, my almost 4-year-old (who has been on the computer from 18 months) had difficulty with them. I think older kids with better attention spans and more coordination would do much better with this title.
