As kids are successful, they receive a ticket as a reward. Once they have six tickets, they visit the claw machine to get a special gift. I got the finger puppets, which could then be colored online and printed! These gifts later appear in a box in Emily Elizabeth's room so they can be played with over and over.
Features:
Technical Aspects:We installed and ran this program on our iMac DV-Special, which has a G4 processor, 128M RAM and experienced no problems at all. The colors are cartoon-like and look much like the illustrations in the series of Clifford books, so children will feel as if they've walked right into a story. The balloon-popping sound effect was the most appreciated by my 6 year old son, Ryan. When the correct balloon pops, the other two deflate too, with a whooshing sound.
Report and Conclusions:HURRAY for CLIFFORD! We enjoyed all of the games, from the Concentration-type game using parrots and phonics to making t-shirts with Emily Elizabeth's father. This program incorporates all of the fun and sweetness of the storybooks and I suspect that all Clifford fans will enjoy it as much as we did.Besides the fun, Clifford The Big Red Dog Reading offers over 100 lessons, storybooks, paint opportunities and printables for computer OFF activities. So get out there and get your tickets from Clifford's friends, they're going fast. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
