It's time to play Family Feud! Enjoy round after round of exciting fast-paced competition as contestants try to outwit and outguess each other for the most popular survey answers. Play against your friends and family or compete against animated opponents that you create. If you're good enough, you'll get to compete in the fast money round for fame and fortune. Features:
Technical Aspects:Even though my computer exceeds all of the minimum requirements, the game still ran slowly. You can create your own character, but once you have it looking the way you want, it takes the computer more than 5 minutes to generate it while you sit and wait (not a good thing for impatient children). You can also import a photo for your game face, but we didn't have much luck with that. None of the photos we tried looked right. Also, much of the background within the game is very dark (blue, gray, and gold). One bad feature is that you can't save your game, so if you have to quit in the middle of a game you'll have to abandon it. I'm not sure how appropriate this game would be for someone who is hearing impaired. The controls (which button to push) and the questions are written on the screen, but the directions are spoken and there are no subtitles. Report and Conclusions:Overall this is a good game, but I'm not sure how much of an improvement it is over previous versions of Family Feud. Louie Anderson is a nice addition, but after awhile all of his comments sounded alike. We played several times and didn't get any repeat surveys, which is great in comparison to many other trivia games. Some of the nice features include changing the computer opponent's difficulty level and giving yourself more time to type in the answers (great for kids and slow typists). My 12-year-old granddaughter did all fine playing Family Feud, but younger kids probably wouldn't do as well. Teenagers and adults are more appropriate as an age group. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
