Description:

Picture a totally cool, MTV-style game show which has been magically transferred to your computer--that's what HeadRush is! Most questions are multiple choice, earning $10,000, $20,000, or $30,000 per correct answer (don't you wish you really got the cash). Each game has 11 questions, but you can continue playing and it will carry your score into the next game. An announcer (who is very funny) reads the questions and provides more info after the answer. This game is very 'in' with categories like "If Dogs Can Wear Sweaters", "Superheroes Who Can't Decorate", and "Even Purple Dinosaurs Have to Die...Someday". Some typing is required (your name and some fill-in-the-blank questions), and unfortunately spelling counts.

Features:

  • Includes hundreds of trivia questions
  • 1, 2, or 3 player games
  • Enjoy twisted cartoons, player icons, and commercials
  • Three bonus audio tracks
  • Six different question formats
  • Keeps a high score list

Technical Aspects:

Installation was great after disabling my anti-virus software. No technical problems while playing (based on the "Troubleshooting" sections of both the readme file and the manual, they expect you to only have sound problems).

Report and Conclusions:

The only drawback I can find is that there isn't a computer player. This game is great and totally cool! With a hip soundtrack and hilarious jokes, teens will be hooked. But this is definitely not aimed at anybody older than genX-ers. The warning on the box: Not suitable for geezers (and they won't get it anyway). It's going on my top 10 list.
