Booter's Shed - fix the Turtleworks theme song music, make a poster and match the oysters with their pearls. Canoe River - what a mess! Help Huggly pick up the river, but watch out for rocks and logs. The Bridge - Zibble and Quibble need their toys sorted into rhyming pairs! Irma's Train Stop - Help put the cargo back into the correct cars (letter identification) and then help Uncle Chomper by moving rocks to create a stairway for him. Al Lee Gator's Stream - enjoy the stories and help put the missing beginning letter sounds back in place. There are six stories in all, but only two have to be completed to release a turtle. The Wild Woods - Build a ladder to reach Tillie. Lookout Point - complete the plant patterns, then match upper and lower-case letters to snap the slide together. Award Celebration - we saved the day! Print your award or play in other areas of the camp. The Turtleworks - a pinball game that gets wilder the longer you play!
Features:
Technical Aspects:We've been running this game on our iMac, which has a G3, 350MHz processor and have experienced no problems of any kind. The graphics are bright and the sound effects add to the quirky fun. The box will give you an excellent idea of what to expect from the program.
Report and Conclusions:My 6 year old son, Ryan, adores Huggly! He couldn't wait to rip off the wrapper and get going and he completed the game in one evening. He's since played through it several times and thoroughly enjoyed each game. Once again, Scholastic has created a delightful learning experience for kids who think they're "just" playing a game. The balance of fun and learning in this program is absolutely perfect, and your little monsters will love it as much as mine do! | |||||||||||||||||||||||
