Description:

Inside the GRE,GMAT, and LSAT is the perfect tool for the college graduate who has the desire to get into the top grad schools. This learning tool comes with three cds, one cd for each of the tests complete with all the tools needed to study and make an excellent grade. After following each of the tutorials, which have excellent guides, you then take the tests. The tests are timed and written just like the real ones, if you don't pass the first time, just go back and study again! These programs also help the student study the CAT (Computerized Activated Testing), which is an advanced form of testing that enables the student to know his grades more quickly and apply to the appropriate schools.

The GRE (Graduated Record Exam) is a required test for entry into post graduate school. This test focuses on math skills and vocabulary, with the math skills being very advanced. The student will definitely enhance his skills in the areas of algebra, trigonometry and geometry . There are other aspects of the test, such as reading comprehension and thinking skills.

The GMAT is the required test for business school and deals a great deal with vocabulary, reading comprehension and math all on the same level. Because the test is geared toward business, all the areas are dealt with evenly. The tests are very precise, most especially the math portion which contains algebra and geometry. The LSAT is the required test for law school. This area focuses mainly on reading comprehension and reasoning skills. The student must be a very quick thinker and be able to remember the definitions of words, and especially have quick recall for the essay portion of the test. The essay portion will offer a question and the student will have to write a three paragraph essay on what the answer is, providing details and using the vocabulary words that were studied.

These programs are excellent study tools and provide the most accurate and up-to-date data for passing these exams.

Technical Aspects:

Installation was very easy, just pop in the cd and let the install wizard run its course. Experienced no glitches or run time errors.

Report and Conclusions:

This program would be an excellent gift for the graduating college junior or senior and enhances their chances of getting the scores required for entrance into the college of their choice. It is an great tutorial and study guide, and has written or computer tests that are similar to the real tests that are given. Whether the student is a great academic scholar or even one that has trouble staying focused, I believe this CD set is perfect if the students have the desire and ability to further thier education. This program is an good resource for families with kids in college, and would make a great gift to the graduating senior seeking a post graduate degree.
