Description: Interfact Storm includes a fact-filled, 48 page spiral book
that's packed with pictures, drawings and includes information on the
various types of storms, as well as a CD-ROM that enhances the lessons with
challenging activities, quizzes and games.
The games include:
- Eye of the Storm - race the computer to the eye of the storm by
answering correctly.
- Storm Chaser - become a TV storm reporter
- Weather Map - put the correct storm symbols on the weather map
- Weather Plane - practice flying into the center of hurricanes,
thunderstorms and blizzards.
- Shipping Forecast - plot the safest course across a stormy ocean
- Storm Simulator - create conditions to spark a storm!
- Balloon Race - monitor the wind strength along the course.

Technical Aspects:
We had no problems during installation or runtime, but the book does include
sections on how to install, use and troubleshoot the program.
Report and Conclusions:
This book and program work together to provide extensive information about
the phenomena of storms and their causes. The kit could be used in a
homeschool or classroom and could be taught in conjunction with a field trip
to a weather station and lessons on storm safety.
