Description:
Next, there is the grouping area. Here, players are given eight pictures and a number. They must then match the number with the correct grouping of that number--each correct answer gets the users closer to having the complete picture. Once completed, the picture comes to life and does funny things! Now comes the counting part. Kids are given a number that they may wake up and it will talk to them; click on the camera and then count the correct number of pictures to match the number. Lastly, there is the memory match game. Here the child matches the correct number to reveal the hidden picture underneath. Features:
Technical Aspects:Installing this game was very easy. There were no errors messages, no run-time errors and no difficulty whatsoever. Just pop in the CD-ROM and go! That simple.Report and Conclusions:I loved this program! It is excellent for children just learning to count. I invited my nephew over to play and he went wild, he is five and this was so easy for him to maneuver. He is always wanting to "pay on my 'puter." Now, with this program, I feel confidant that he is learning how to use the computer with a game that is fun and easy to play. This program makes learning for younger children a blast! The numbers talk and give directions, and the kids will love it. I predict that a three year old who can not count will be counting in no time at all with this program. This is the answer to 'phonics for counting'. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
