Technical Aspects:The program installed easily enough but messed up my screen when I tried to play it. I restarted my computer and it worked fine after that.Report and Conclusions:Kids love parties and Little Bear is no exception, so he decides to plan a "Just Because" party for all of his friends. Children go through a series of activities to help Little Bear get ready for the party. As Little Bear invites all of his friends, he helps them with their chores/activities. Some of the activities include a coloring activity with Mother Bear, a Hide and Seek activity with Duck, a matching game with Hen and so on. The first CD- ROM contains lots of great ideas for crafts, games, etc. I was very excited to see the many printables. The only problem I had with the printables is that you did not really know what you were printing until it printed. I would have preferred to read about the craft and then decide if I wanted to print it. There were some things that I printed off that I would not use/make. Little Bear Preschool Thinking Adventureis a great investment for Little Bear fans. Parents may need to supervise a bit with this program however, as I found the instructions were not always clear on what children should be doing. Also, the program assumes that children already know their left from right, which may be O.K. for a five-year-old but frustrating for a three-year-old. With guidance, this will be a wonderful program for your "Little Bears." | ||||||||||||||||||||||
