Description:

The MagnaDoodle toy is one that does not translate well to the computer screen. The only other program I can think of that is similar is KidPix Studios which also animates a child's original art. The difference is that this title is designed for a younger audience and has a simplified interface for pre-schoolers.

Technical Aspects:

We ran this title on a Pentium 200 MMX with 48M RAM and did run into problems with the 'blue screen of death' a couple of times. Otherwise, it did run, but rather slowly. I would not like to try it on the minimal requirements!

Report and Conclusions:

My children have shown absolutely no interest in this title and I couldn't recommend it to you in good faith. If you're looking for an art program for a very small child, check out Elmo's Art Workshop for a program that allows kids more scope and creativity.
