Description: Tivola's Millie Meter's Nutritional Adventure is an extremely graphical and fun way to learn about nutrition. As you travel with Millie Meter on her quest to help the giants solve their bad eating habits, you learn how the digestive system works and proper nutrition. As you travel to each part of the digestive system, you learn how each part of the system works and affects the other parts of the system. Hidden in each part of the digestive system, is a game to play. After playing each of the 6 games you are awarded a part of a golden pyramid with each piece representing a basic food group.
Features:
- Six activities
- A fun way to learn about nutrition
- Program can be run in English, French, or German
Technical Aspects:
Installation went well, with no problems. I only ran the English version, and all of the voices had a strong British accent, which took a little getting used to. The only problem I had with the program was the quality of some of the voices. One of the voices was muffled and a little hard to understand even with the volume raised a few notches.
Report and Conclusions:
We had to play this a few times to learn how to find things and move through the program, but it was an interesting way to learn about nutrition and the digestive system.
